A Plus Family Movers began in Philadelphia, PA by Joseph and Pamela Locke. Joe began working independently with other moving companies in 1990. After several years as an owner-operator, Joe began to accumulate trucks, drivers, and helpers. While doing business with only one company at that time, we then expanded to supply labor and trucks for almost every major van lines in our industry. Collecting the experience, professionalism, know-how and several experienced employees along the way, Joe and Pam realized the value of a family owned and operated company with the corporate mover know-how was in order. A Plus Family Movers specializes in local, intrastate (within PA), and international residential, piano, and commercial moving. With our years of experience we can offer our same professional services to our interstate customers as well. Our system allows us to quote a local move over the phone by inputting a list of items the customer wants moved. With a conformation letter sent by A+ Family Movers, the customer can feel confident that there will be no surprises on moving day. The customer simply fills out an inventory sheet of the items they want A+ Family Movers to handle and the computer does the rest. It normally takes less than 5 minutes to receive their price. Making changes to the inventory is just as simple. Items can be added or subtracted from the list right up until the day before move day. We are very careful to ensure that all your possessions arrive in the same manner as they left. We do this by padding all furniture before moving and not unpadding until it arrives safely in the new home. The same care is taken to protect the buildings we move from and to. All trucks carry floor runners and plywood to ensure that the floors and walls are not damaged. |
